Family of man who raped 15-year-old girl in Enugu tries to convince police to allow them "settle" with victim's family

A man was arrested in Iwollo, Enugu for raping a 15-year-old girl. According to a lawyer, Emmanuel, family of the suspect had been trying to convince the police to release him and allow them settle with the victim's family.

The Spokesperson for the Enugu State Police Command, Mr Ebere Amaraizu, who confirmed the incident, said the division has been instructed to transfer the case to the Headquarters.
