An undisclosed source close to the Kano state Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje
has disclosed that the governor having been provoked by the attitude, recklesness and inhumanity shown by his commissioner of works and infrastructe Engr. Magaji Mu'azu Dansarauniya, the governor has decided to sack the commissioner while appointing Engr. Dr. Abdullahi Garba Ramat as the new commissioner.
The former commissioner has on different occasions been controversial which did not go well with the state government.
Engr. Ramat was the Director General of Kano State Metropolitan Agency, a newly parastatal saddled with the responsibility of installing, rehabilitating and maintenance of the state streets and traffic lights.
Engr. Ramat is the youngest managing director in the Administration. Engr. Ramat got his first degree from Bayero University Kano in Electrical Engineering Department and has a Masters Degree in Telecommunications and a PhD in Communication and Wireless Networks from Jodhpur International University India and VIT, Jaipur, India respectfully.
