A Nigerian lady was sexually assaulted by multiple men at the Lagos State carnival which held on Sunday while a police officer looked on and did nothing, according to her!
Miss Ibukun said she, together with other dancers employed to perform at the concert, were upset that the organizers of the event refused to pay them after the event was done so they decided to march to the stage to protest. On her way to the stage, some young male carnival goers surrounded her and started dragging her phone. When she wouldn't let it go, they began tearing her clothes and underwear. Some of the guys squeezed her breasts and buttocks while some took turns to rape her with their fingers. One of them even tried to penetrate her with his penis as she fought them off and screamed for help.

She said a police officer nearby looked her straight in the eye as she was getting molested by the young men but he did nothing. She was later rescued by one of the dancers who heard her scream and was handed over to paramedics who cleaned her up and checked her out.
She disclosed that she's been dealing with emotional and mental trauma following the attack which left her with bruises on her arm and private part. She had to visit an international foundation that helps rape survivors to heal.
After she shared her story, some people called her out for the outfit she wore to the event, saying she deserves what she got but she shared a full photo of the dress which looked decent enough.
