Age is not a barrier...

Carolyn Slade-Harden was crowned 2017's Miss Senior America on Thursday after a three-day long competition held at the Resorts Casino in Atlantic City.
Originally from Manchester, New Jersey, Slade-Harden wowed the crowd during the talent portion with a stunning rendition of Stevie Wonder's 'For Once in My Life,' according to Shore News Today.

The Miss Senior America pageant is in its 39th year and was founded by Dr Al Mott for women between the ages of 60 and 90.

The competition began in New Jersey when Mott decided to put something together for the retirement home he owned that showcased the elegance of women over 60.
