SUB exclusive: Diocese Of The Niger-Iyienu Mission Hospital Sacks 46 Workers Without Gratuity


This will be a black Friday for the workers that were unceremoniously laid off

at Iyienu Mission Hospital in Onitcha , Anambra state without warning.
According to the hospital management, the sole aim for the termination of appointments, was due to the present economic recession in the country which has adversely affected their establishment therefore, resulting in an urgent need for downsize.
Note that these  workers weren't  entitled to leave (Alawo), no pension, no gratuity rather they got termination bonus, some nurses were involved including  DHNS.
