More than 50,000 people performed a synchronized dance routine
in 14 Chinese cities to break the world record for "multiple-site large-scale dancing."
A video of the Sunday event shows a total 50,085 people performing a dance routine at the same time in cities including Shanghai, Xi'an, Zhengzhou, Chongqing and Shenzhen.
The footage shows the participants all wore matching red outfits, but the dancers in some cities donned clear rain ponchos over their clothes to protect them from wet weather.
Organizers said the event met the qualifications to set a new Guinness World Record.
