ROCCO RITCHIE appeared to take a swipe at mother Madonna over the weekend when he reportedly confessed that he was “glad” about no longer living with her.
The 16-year-old is believed to have made the remark - which has since been deleted - beneath an Instagram post that showed his mother and her friends partaking in the mannequin challenge around a dinner table.
“So glad I don’t live there anymore,” he allegedly
commented beneath the clip.
The comment sparked a flurry of responses from Madonna fans, who asked why he was making unkind remarks about his mother.
After one fan said that the dinner “looked like a lot of fun,” the teen responded with a string of laughing emojis.
It’s claimed Rocco - who lives with his director father Guy Ritchie in the UK - then proceeded to block fans who challenged him on the social networking site.
Rocco later deleted the message, while the original video was also removed from the singer’s Instagram page.
The clip also showed Rocco’s siblings, David, 11, and Mercy, ten, participating in the challenge with the 58-year-old, who had food hanging from her mouth.
Although Madonna and Rocco’s relationship has been put through its paces this year, with the youngster choosing to live with his father, the mother-son duo are believed to have now made amends.
Teenager Rocco’s comment comes a short while after he was arrested on suspicion of cannabis possession last week.
On Wednesday, Madonna released a statement to The Associated Press, calling Rocco’s troubles “a family matter”.
She added: “I love my son very much. I will do whatever I can to give him the support that he needs, and I ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”
