BREAKING: Gunmen abduct catholic priest in Warri



A catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Paul Irikefe, has been abducted by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers in Warri, Delta state, The Punch reports.

Father Irikefe, who is said to be a lecturer with Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Major Seminary in Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo state, was said to have been kidnapped yesterday, September 5.

The report stated that the priest arrived Delta state yesterday to attend the burial rites of his friend and colleague, Rev. Fr. Amaefule Chike.

In a related development, last week, the lagos state command arrested the most wanted kidnapper and militant in the state. 
The apprehended fugitive goes by the name Peretun Governor. He had been declared wanted in the past by the police.
