Princess Diana's death anniversary: Her life in pictures as she is remembered 19 years on




Princess Diana died from serious injuries in the early hours of August 31 1997 after a terrible car crash in Paris.

Her tragic death led to a huge outpouring of grief among the British public who laid masses of floral tributes in her memory.
As Britain marks the 19th anniversary of her death on Wednesday, here is a selection of photographs from her life.

Diana grew up on estate but she moved to Althorp in Northamptonshire when her father inherited the title of Earl Spencer in 1975.

Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed were killed in a car crash in Paris in August 1997. 
Former Prime Minister Tony Blair said: "She was the people's princess and that is how she will stay, how she will remain in our hearts and our memories for ever."
