NW magazine alleges that the 47-year-old pop star's short lived romance with back-up singer Bryan Tanaka made her yearn for the Aussie billionaire.
Being with (Bryan) made her see she has something special with James,' an 'insider' allegedly told the magazine.
'She's told pals she wants him back... Bryan was just a rebound fling to get over James.'
Mariah and backing dancer Bryan reportedly split over his issues with jealousy and her tiring of funding his lavish shopping sprees.
