Gospel singer Kim Burrell faced backlash for delivering a homophobic sermon

that refers to the "perverted homosexual spirit". She has dropped from the Ellen Degeneres show.

A video of the singer delivering the "homophobic" speech has surfaced online and has upset a lot of people.

She was due to appear on the talk show this week to perform a song with Pharrell Williams and Janelle Monáe, but Ellen took to Twitter to say that Kim would no longer be making an appearance.

In the footage, Kim, who is a pastor at Love and Liberty Fellowship Church in Houston, Texas, can be heard saying: "That perverted homosexual spirit is a spirit of delusion and confusion and has deceived many men and women, and it has caused a strain on the body of Christ.”She is quoted as saying ‘that gays are going to die in 2017 ....
