A giant golden door erected atop a building in a Chinese city has been drawing attention

from locals, who dubbed it the "door of god."

The 26-foot-tall door was installed atop a building in Chongquing, where it stands alone with nothing on either side but the outside air.

The meaning behind the door, an apparent decorative touch, was unclear.
