Photos: 21-Year Old Syrian Refugee Kills Pregnant Woman, Injures Two In Germany

The 21-year-old randomly hacked at terrified members of the public with a 12-inch blade in the city of Reutlingen this afternoon.A mum-to-be was killed in the horrific rampage near a kebab stand, while at least two others suffered unspecified injuries.

The bearded refugee, described as 'completely out of his mind', was only stopped when a brave BMW driver apparently ploughed into him.

He was arrested by cops as he lay 'motionless' on the pavement. Police have since said there is 'no indication' he was linked to terrorism.

Photos of the scene show the man lying on his side, with a bloodied face. Armed cops can be seen standing above him, resting their boots on his body.

The motive behind the attack at the Listplatz Square remains unclear.

However, some reports say the suspect attacked the pregnant woman with the machete after an argument developed between them.

This evening, police said the man is a Syrian asylum seeker who had been involved in previous incidents causing injuries to other people.
