Now bags are BANNED on beaches in Cannes following surge of ISIS-related terror attacks

Holiday makers have been banned from taking bags on the beach in Cannes over fears of an Islamic State-style terror attack.

Beach bags, suitcases and large luggage are all forbidden at the resort town following a spate of terror attacks across France and Germany in the last month.
Mayor David Lisnard said the ban was imposed to stop bags "that could contain explosives or weapons" and allows police "to intervene in a pragmatic way".
Those who break the law, which will be in force until the end of October, could be fined or forced to leave the beach.

The French Riviera town is a playground for the rich and famous but security forces are being ramped up in the face of an increased terror threat.
It comes just weeks after 84 people were run over by a Tunisian delivery man who had pledged allegiance to ISIS.
